Hi, I’m Meredith.
I'm here to lend a helping hand to non-profit organizations and churches with their online communication needs. Whether it's crafting engaging websites or managing vibrant social media presence, count on me to support your cause! I am located in Holland, Michigan, but can connect with local or non-local organizations.
My Approach:
I believe that ALL online arenas are a powerful tool for organizations to showcase their identity, values, and mission even before engaging with members of your community. Through strategic use of words, images, and layout, a website can effectively communicate the core values of an organization. With the right images, messages and “voice”, you can engage with community through social media. My goal is not to alter your identity, but to collaborate with you in curating online platforms that authentically reflect who you are as an organization. Let's work together to create digital spaces that resonate with your audience and accurately represent your unique identity.
About Meredith:
I grew up in Holland, Michigan before heading to College at Calvin University. When I graduated in 2009, I had a bachelors degree in communications, but felt called into ministry. This was in a big part because of my parents, Bob and Laura Keeley, who spent their careers working in ministry and thinking about faith formation through all ages. So I worked for 6 years in Children’s Ministries, Worship Ministries and Church Administration before taking some time off after the birth of my first child. Soon after, I had the opportunity to support a local composer/author/consultant by being his business manager and really enjoyed working alongside churches and got a glimpse of consulting work. In around 2016, My church (14th Street CRC) needed someone to cultivate their online profiles and asked me to help. I enjoyed spending my time crafting the website for 14th street that represented who we were. Since that time, I have been able to support other Churches, Missionaries, Physical Therapists, Musicians, and more. It is not a “One Size fits all” solution here, and I love helping smaller organizations identify their style of communication and what will connect best with their community in an affordable way.
I am married to Micah VanderHill. We have 4 children together (Ages 9, 6, 2 & 2) and we live in Holland, Michigan. In my free time, I enjoy Music, Yoga, Photography, and reading mystery novels.
Check out some of my completed projects.
I’ve worked with Churches, Missionaries, Musicians, Physical Therapists, Content Creators and more. Here are a few projects that I am very proud of.
-
14th Street Christian Reformed Church
I have been on staff at 14th Street CRC as their Web Communications Director. I created and maintained their website since 2016, including leading a project to create a logo that represents our church (in collaboration with Boileau Communications).
-
Central Avenue Church
In 2023, Central Avenue reached out to me for website assistance. Their previous site was cluttered and dated, making it hard to find important information. I reorganized things to spotlight their five ministry areas while ensuring easy access to vital documents.
-
Micah VanderHill Music
Micah, my husband, discovered in 2022 that he needed a website to showcase his talents as a musician and generate interest in his future projects. I took on the task of creating his logo and building his website, where I integrated his diverse talents and included numerous video clips for potential clients to enjoy.
